Silicon Graphics (sgi)
In 1995, Judith Schwartz managed the product introduction for the Ada '95 compiler and toolset. The SGI developer group was short-handed and needed someone who could learn the product fast and move quickly. Later she designed an online sales guide for the software group for the early SGI intranet.
In 1996, Judith and colleague Deanna Orr returned to the developer group to create a support program for professional content developers. Delivered through a robust online community, the program ultimately included a knowledge management system to share techniques, a self-publishing services directory, and moderated conferences for designers and webmasters.
In both engagements, we functioned as extensions of the internal team, collaborating with SGI internal creative services and other vendors in addition to our network of Raise the Bar colleagues.
